The mosque was completed after seven years of construction and began operations with its first Friday prayer on July 5, 2024. It was officially inaugurated by the Crown Prince of Pahang in March 2025. The name 'Al-Jazari' honors a renowned 12th-century Muslim scientist and engineer. The mosque features a blend of Islamic design with local architectural elements.
