Established in 2021, the Uyghur Islamic Center in Fairfax, VA, is the first and only Uyghur Islamic center in the US. It preserves Uyghur Islamic faith and culture for the DC-Metro Muslim community in a resilient, welcoming neighborhood hub with space for worship and events.
